The job is done and the customer is happy. Hand them a Smartap before you leave, and your Google review page opens with one tap.

There is no counter and no second visit. The best time to ask is while you pack up.
A message a week later competes with everything else on their phone.
Anyone who searches for a trade sees your rating and your review count next to your name.
Four places your customers already look, and the product that fits each one.

Always with you, so you can hold it out at the door when the job is signed off.

Google lets you ask customers for reviews. What it does not allow:
Hold the keychain out at the end of every job, however it went. A Smartap asks everyone the same way, and what each customer writes is up to them.
In the US, the FTC's rule on consumer reviews, in force since October 21, 2024, also bans rewards tied to what a review says.

Yes. Every Smartap has its own link, and they can all open your Google profile. The dashboard counts QR scans for each one separately; taps on the chip are not counted.
Yes, if you ask every customer the same way. Google does not allow asking only the customers who seem pleased, offering money off in return, or standing over someone while they write it.
Write the new listing's link to the chip with the Smartap app and update the QR code in your dashboard. Nothing needs reprinting unless the card carries a logo that changes too.
No. The chip has no battery and never needs charging. To open your review page, your customer's phone needs a data connection, the same as for any website.
Every iPhone from the iPhone 7 onwards and nearly all Android phones read the chip. Older phones, including the iPhone 6 and 6S, can scan the QR code printed on every Smartap instead.
