Put a Smartap on the front desk. A client taps it with their phone as they pay, and your review page opens.

Paying is the last moment you have their attention, and it is short.
Your team is booking the next appointment, not asking for a review.
After a treatment, a spoken request can feel like pressure. A card on the desk asks every client the same way.
Four places your customers already look, and the product that fits each one.

Beside the card machine, where every client pays.

Google lets you ask customers for reviews. What it does not allow:
Keep the stand on the desk for every client, first visit or fiftieth. A Smartap asks everyone the same way, and what each customer writes is up to them.
In the US, the FTC's rule on consumer reviews, in force since October 21, 2024, also bans rewards tied to what a review says.

Yes. Every Smartap has its own link, and they can all open your salon's profile. The dashboard counts QR scans for each card separately.
Google treats a clinic like any business: ask every patient the same way and offer nothing in return. When you reply to a review, do not confirm the person is a patient or mention their treatment, and check the privacy rules for your profession.
Yes, if every client is asked the same way. Google does not allow asking only the clients who seem delighted, offering money off the next visit in return, or waiting at the desk while they write it.
Yes, Google asks reviewers to sign in. Most smartphone users already are, through Gmail, YouTube or Google Maps.
Every iPhone from the iPhone 7 onwards and nearly all Android phones read the chip. Older phones, including the iPhone 6 and 6S, can scan the QR code printed on every Smartap instead.
